The Certificate in Psychosocial Support & Caregiving in Elderly Cancer Care is a 6-week professional development programme designed to equip healthcare workers, caregivers and community health professionals with essential socio-emotional support skills required in cancer care settings.
The programme focuses on psychosocial needs of patients across life stages, family caregiving dynamics, caregiver stress, emotional support strategies and wellness interventions. Special emphasis is placed on psychosocial support needs of elderly cancer patients and caregiving challenges in late-life illness.
This programme focuses on psychosocial caregiving practices in cancer care settings and does not include any clinical or medical training.
