House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi was brutally beaten inside his San Francisco home on Friday 28/10/2022 morning.

In a statement, spokesman Drew Hammill said that an intruder had broken into the house and that a suspect was in custody.

At a news conference on Friday28th October 2022, San Francisco police Chief Bill Scott stated that when officers went to the residence to check on Pelosi’s welfare, they discovered the two of them clutching hammers. They then watched the suspect strike Pelosi, 82, with the hammer. According to Scott, the police disarmed the suspect.
According to Scott, the suspect, 42-year-old David Depape, has been charged with elder abuse as well as other offenses. In police custody, Depape was brought to the hospital.
According to NBC Bay Area’s Investigative Unit, which cited a hospital source, Pelosi was transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where she was undergoing brain surgery. He was being treated for facial injuries, according to a source who earlier stated that his status was stable.
Hammill stated that a full recovery is anticipated. At the hospital, Capitol Police and Secret Service personnel were waiting.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi wasn’t home during the raid and attack in San Francisco. As per her office, she was in Washington, D.C. with her security detail.
“An intruder broke into the Pelosi home in San Francisco early this morning and assaulted Mr. Pelosi severely. The attacker is in jail, and the reason behind the incident is being looked at, according to a statement from Pelosi’s office.

Mr. Pelosi was rushed to the hospital, where he is receiving first-rate treatment and is anticipated to recover completely. At the time, the Speaker was not in San Francisco, according to the statement.
The Speaker and her family express their gratitude to the emergency personnel and medical staff who assisted them and ask for privacy at this time.
The 2600 block of Broadway was the scene of a house invasion, according to San Francisco police. A collaborative investigation into the house invasion assault is being carried out by the Capitol Police, the FBI, and the San Francisco police.
Both Pelosi’s home and that of former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky, were vandalized in January of last year, only a few days before the attack on the Capitol on January 6. There were words like “$2K,” “Cancel rent!” and “We want everything” scrawled on Pelosi’s garage door. This occurred a few days after a resolution asking Congress to increase coronavirus stimulus checks to $2,000 was rejected.
